Enchanting Ticino

This publication is a photographic journey of discovery illustrating the beauty of this enchanting canton Ticino. Situated in the most southerly part of Switzerland and with a mild and partly sub-tropical climate it lends itself to a vast range of recreational, cultural and economic activities and also offers the opportunity to relax along the canton’s rivers and lakes, to enjoy the refreshing mountain air combined with good food and wine. So it is no surprise that this area has not only appealed to passing visitors but that it has also lured many into staying longer. The author has had the privilege to share the joy and enthusiasm of local people in their various activities and has captured with her camera and with equal enthusiasm the natural beauties, cultural peculiarities and a variety of events happening in this land called Ticino.
